Faith, Writing, and Purpose

Michael Steven Purles is an author, who has served as a business skills trainer and author, as well as a business manager throughout much of his adult life. His writing opportunities have followed two parallel but different pathways, one for business and the other for personal life experiences. You will recognize in his writing a specific focus on finding strength for and helping to lift burdens that are a part of each person’s life. A special focus is on our personal relationship with Jesus Christ and becoming one of His true disciples.

Michael and Jerry (his wife of 50+ years) have four children. Tracy, the oldest was born with congenital heart disease and lived to be 20. They have three sons, the second of which (according to birth order) also had congenital heart disease, but was able to be rescued by medical science. His wife suffered a stroke three years ago and he graduated from being a husband only to a husband and caregiver.
